Here’s personal piece I decided to create a back story out of.
It’s about an elf who was torn apart by war, he became the only survivor after his small village was raided. Instead of feeling a tantamount of rage, feelings of guilt and sadness filled up the space. He wanted to die to join his loved ones, but killing himself was against his beliefs, his spirit would be left to wonder around the soil never to join his loved ones. His long life wouldn’t allow him to welcome death quickly, he became desperate and reckless, his actions led him astray to his kingdoms army.
But even the army wouldn’t grant his wish, he developed friends and comrades in arms who would be willing to give up their lives for each other. His guilt of being the only survivor and equipped with the memory of his villages death, it was too much for him to bear.
But all hope was not lost, just as a passing angel heard his misery, she took pity. Presenting a small ray of hope, she smiled sadly and warned. “This will only grant your wish for a day, when the power runs out, your body will be turned to stone and your soul will forever be trapped within.”
Did he take it the chance?
I'll leave that question floating in the air. X)
>.> this angel sounds more like a demon…
If you want to read a short story about this, you can find it here:

But I seriously hope he's strong enough to refuse. >.<
